A few years ago, we both saw the same problem from different angles.

Shay was pioneering conversational AI, proving that AI could handle complex, real-world voice interactions with incredible skill. He saw the immense power of the technology but knew its potential was bigger than any single application.

Meanwhile, Simon was watching businesses here in South Africa, the real engine of our economy, getting buried under a mountain of repetitive work. He saw talented people spending their days on tasks that didn't use their skills, and he knew there had to be a better way.

When we came together, the idea for Aiployee was born. It was one of those moments where everything just clicks. What if we could combine Shay's deep, hands-on experience in building world-class AI with a vision to create not just a single tool, but an entire workforce? A marketplace where any business could hire a specialised Aiployee for any role, instantly.
